Bishop Hartley is the Cap City Preps Team of the Decade

The Hawks Dominated the Decade, The Numbers Don't Lie

The Hartley Hawks have compiled such an impressive resume over the last 10 years and to Cap City Preps, it is clear they are the best of the decade. Some may point out their titles were won at a lower division, but that argument doesn't hold water. The Hawks continue to play, and schedule, one of the most difficult schedules in the state. In 2019, they played the toughest schedule in the state, in all of Division III. Pickerington Central is a great program and finished a close second in our voting; however, in their first championship in 2017, their sole loss was to a Division III team. That same Central team dominated the Division I State Championship game 56-28. What's our point? When it comes to the team of the decade, Division should not be a factor.
